If more jazz could make me feel like this... I am sure that you prolly say "more jazz?" because you prolly dig all that jazz, but it still seems foreign to me... but I do dig this cut!
ReplyDeleteWhat you are feeling my friend is "Da Funk". Don't fight it, just let the vibes flow through. Although, both Fred and Maceo can jazz with the best of them, funk is their specialty.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry if you don't dig the stuff you think you are supposed to dig. It ain't about the box that it came in, its all about what is inside that box and how it makes you feel. It took jazz a few years to find me, now it knows my name. Listen to what knows your name.
Jazz is like chitlins and pigs feet, it ain't for everybody. But brace yourself, its back to jazz with classical undertones tomorrow.
