WTF, telemarketers disregard the do not call list?

I thought we had these sombitches on the run.

If politicians want to do something to make themselves popular they can drive a stake through the heart of these assholes.

Unless they just want to leave the loopholes in the law so they can annoy us with pre-recorded messages at election time about how hard they are fighting on our behalf.

Its the way nature planned it

Ready or not, it seems we will now have a national discussion about gender identity.

I will admit that I am still a bit confused by the whole thing.  I mean just the whole plumbing thing of what goes where is enough to overwhelm the uninitiated.  And I guess just having gay men marry lesbian women is an over simplification of the problem.  At least the plumbing fixtures would fit, huh, huh, huh!  I suppose life is never that simple.

But it seems to me that as long those who identify with nontraditional gender roles are simply trying to carve out a place in the universe to live life the best way they know how, then the least the rest of us can do is scooch over a bit and give them a little room to breathe free.

But that doesn't mean the hipper than hip in crowd gets to look at us funny just because we don't get it.  You are strange to us and that is not our fault. Just because  the high powered media types have organized a slick campaign to convince the rest of us hicks that this is the coolest thing since ice dispensers on refrigerators doors doesn't mean we have to like it.  And we won't.  But we can and should acknowledge the humanity of even those who are different.

So if you think you can manage to mow your grass, pay your taxes and bring your herbie curbie in off the street before the sun rises again then welcome to the neighborhood.  If you don't judge me I won't judge you.  But let's be clear here, I don't like this or understand it.  That doesn't make me a bad person any more than not liking golf, chitlins or Game of Thrones.  Its just the way God made me!

Personally, I think we all would have been better off with civil unions.  Think about it.  This would have given a wider scope of interested persons access to this so called equality.  For example, what if a single parent has a good job with benefits for herself and her children.  But she wanted her mother, who has no health insurance, to stay home and take care of the kids.  Why couldn't civil unions allow a mother and a daughter to band together for mutual economic benefit.  The mother gets subsidized health care, the single parent gets a homemaker to take care of her kids while she earns a living.  What about two little old spinster ladies trying to take care of each other into old age making a legal commitment to each other.

Where is it written that this issue has to be about gay and lesbian people.  This could have been about a lot more than who your dance partner is when its time to do the hokey pokey.  But that doesn't seem to be where we are headed now.

Everybody on all sides of this issue better strap in because this seems to be headed for political bloodsport, and that's what its all about.

I think I'm in love

I have always wondered why so called journalist allow the political types to go on air and Texas 2 step their way around the question that everybody wants answered.

Not today. Not Tamron Hall.

Dayum girl, I am scared of you. I do not want to roll up on you in a dark alley.

For those of you who don't speak ghetto allow me to translate:

Bitch you in my house so don't play me.

I ain't done nothin to you yet but you will feel it when I fuck with you.

You are seriously pissing me off.

So shut the hell up and get off my air.

Now the point is not that she smacked her "guest" around on air.  The point is that she demanded accountability from those who would come on her air and use it to spew uselessness.

I guess the end result of everyone holding their guests accountable would be fewer politicians agreeing to go on these programs.  But you know that might not be the worst thing that ever happened.  Maybe they could use that airtime to run better cartoons or something.

And that is Soul for real.

Maybe we need extra security screening

for angry white men at the airport or something.

You know, place the scrutiny where the threat is actually located.
That way all those perfectly innocent Pakistani men in traditional garb can fly home to visit their mothers on mothers day and back without a bunch of hassle.
