...have I heard about "responsible" motherhood, making amends for past transgressions, doing the right thing or generally getting one's shit together.

All anyone is talking about is celebrating and honoring the female parental unit, nothing else.

Mother's day is turning out to be nothing more than a universal celebration of motherhood, as it should be.

Let's hope the pattern holds through June.
